Namthip Chankeelee (Nina)
Fouder & Heart Behind SENYAI
Born and raised in Thailand as the youngest of nine (yes, nine!), I’ve always been a picky eater… who never had to cook – thanks to my amazing siblings.
I moved to the U.S. as an au pair, studied design, and earned my graphic design degree from Baruch College in NYC. While chasing big dreams, I also chased down real Thai food – but it wasn’t easy on a tight budget. So I started cooking at home.
After COVID hit, I relocated to Jacksonville and realized: no one here was serving the real deal, so I decided, “Screw it, I’ll make my own!”. With no restaurant experience but a whole lot of passion (and hunger), SENYAI was born.
SENYAI is my way of sharing Thai culture through bold flavors, good vibes, and a whole lotta love.
